Instagram LOVE

·by Tamera Alexander

I love Instagram.

I’m not a huge poster (I’m working to do better). But I love to scroll and get glimpses into people’s lives—and into who they are. What someone posts says a lot about a person.

This is by no means an exhaustive list. But maybe you’ll “click” with one of these people, too, and choose to follow them.

So without further adieu…

Deb Raney
It’s our own Deb Raney! Deb’s posts are always colorful and warm, and are definitely eye candy material. I love how her personality really comes through in her home. And she adores changing things up! She’s always moving furniture and accent pieces. I’m betting that new kitchen faucet will be in the bathroom by the end of the week!

Rebekah Lyons
I got to know Rebekah last fall in a Bible study and let me tell you—she’s the real deal. She posts about her struggles, her family, her speaking (she speaks a TON!), and I really appreciate her sharing the wisdom she’s learned through suffering.

Between You and Me Designs
I’ve gotten a sign or two from their Etsy shop. I love how she shares her life and her faith—and her gorgeous home. Check out their signs on Etsy!

The Rambling Redhead
I love her farmhouse style, the coziness of how she decorates, and her ability to put “normal” things together that look terrific.

She Reads Truth
I love their scripture posts, Bible studies, and spiritual encouragement.

Magnolia
I mean really… It would just be wrong not to mention Chip and Jo when talking about Instagram, right? Who doesn’t love Magnolia?! Have you made your Magnolia sojourn yet?

Albert Mohler
I shared Albert Mohler’s podcast with y’all two weeks ago, but I want to include him in this list as well. His Instagram feed is informative, instructive, thoughtful, and frequently heartwarming.

Beth Moore
Real. That’s what Beth’s Instagram is. What you see is what you get, babe. And it’s so refreshing. She shares about her faith, of course, and her life and family—and about wearing her sweater backwards.

Priscilla Shirer
I’m reading one of Priscilla’s Bible Studies right now (Armor of God, it’s so good!), and I appreciate the personal glimpses she gives about her speaking gigs, her family, and life as the “Sword Girl.”

Hope by the Book
If you love books (and I believe we do!) then this feed is for you. It’s all about great quotes, book recommendations, excerpts, and…book love!

Christine Caine
Christine wrote Unexpected. Have you read it? I highly recommend it. Her Instagram feed is funny and warm, and her dedication to being authentic is both a little frightening and incredibly inspiring. : )

Christy Nockels
I love her music, her voice, her ministry—and the way Jesus shines through them all.

Matt Chandler
We needed another guy in this list, right? I regularly listen to Matt Chandler’s sermons (The Village Church in TX), which are excellent. His love for the Lord radiates when he preaches. And when he posts.

Lisa Harper
What can I say? Lisa Harper is . . . Lisa Harper! Hysterical, gracious, warm, loving, authentic, generous. Just like her Instagram feed. And she’s a fabulous mom!

Studio McGee
The power of Instagram is pictures, of course. And Studio McGee has this down to an art. They’re interior designers, and I love drinking in their images and being inspired.

So what are a few of your favorite Instagram feeds? And how often do you check Instagram? Would you label yourself a Frequent Viewer, a Mildly Obsessive? a Somewhat Under Control? Or a Instagram-aholic?
