Thanks to the ladies of Northside Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN for inviting me to speak this past Saturday morning and for giving me such a warm welcome. What a fabulous group! One of the ladies, Lynn Bolles Drewry, grew up in Fayetteville, TN and went to high school with my sweet dad (Lynn and I figured this out a few months ago when she attended a book signing at the Belmont Mansion).
Lynn brought her 1950s yearbook that my dad had signed. LOL!
Small world indeed…
And if that’s not enough, Lynn is the aunt of Sandy Lundy (waving to you, Sweet Sandy) who was my boss close to 30 years ago when Joe and I were living in Memphis, TN, and I was working at a communications company there. This second connection was discovered when Lynn told her niece (Sandy) about a book she’d read by a Tamera Alexander, and Sandy thought, “Wait a minute…”
Don’t you love how God weaves our lives together? Just imagine what all we’ll learn once we’re looking back on this life from eternity.

My dad is bottom right (Wayne Gattis)

And this is Lynn (Bolles Drewry) as a teenager. Love it!

With some of the sweet ladies from Northside Baptist Church. Thank you, Nancy (left), for inviting me!

With Erica Tudor Reed (doesn’t she look great in turquoise!)
What’s the latest thread God has revealed to you as he’s weaving your life with others?
Blessings on your Tuesday,
Tamera
