For Book Clubs

If you're reading one of my books in your book club...thank you!

I'd love to "attend" your book club meeting by way of a Virtual Book Club Chat —meaning via phone, Skype, FaceTime or Zoom—and chat with your group for about 30 minutes.

If you're interested, it's best to inquire 4 to 6 weeks in advance of your meeting as my writing schedule keeps me fairly busy these days.

Q: What is a "virtual book club chat?"

A: It's a cozy chat between a group of book-loving friends!

Q: What will we talk about?

A: I'm happy to talk about the book you've read, the real history of the book's setting, behind-the-scenes glimpses as I wrote the novel, or about writing in general. Whatever interests you! And I always leave time for Q&A. I'm happy to dish about other writing friends, too. I won't tell if you don't!

Q: How do you invite me to join your book club?
A: Send an email here including the following information:

your name
city and state where your group meets
# of attendees
which novel you're reading
the name of your book club (if you have one)
whether you prefer phone/Skype/FaceTime/Zoom
the date/time/time zone of your requested meeting

Then I'll contact you to arrange it. So easy!

Please share my Reader Discussion Guides with your book clubs! These Reader Discussion Guides are available for all of my books and include suggested recipes from the book and, in some cases, suggested reading for further information on the real history/people included in the novel.

Book Club Packets

What's a Book Club Packet?

A Book Club Packet contains bookmarks and signed book plates for each member of your group.

For personalized bookplates, you must include the first names of everyone in your group. Please be sure to write legibly.

If you would like a book club packet, simply send a 6" x 9" size SASE (self-addressed-stamped-envelope) with $1.60 in postage affixed to the envelope to the following address (which will cover groups with up to 12 members), and we'll get your Book Club Packet in the mail!

Special Tours for Readers at Nashville Historic Mansions

Both the Belmont Mansion and Belle Meade Plantation offer special "reader tours" for readers of Tamera's novels. Belmont Mansion offers the A Lasting Impression tour, and Belle Meade Plantation offers the To Whisper Her Name tour.

At present, there's not a special "reader tour" at Carnton, but their regular tour is marvelous and gives wonderful insight into the history of this home and the real characters that people the Carnton novels.
